AXA moving jobs from Dublin to Londonderry

In a statement issued on Friday the firm said: “AXA Insurance operates on an all Island basis and following a review of its business processes has decided in the interests of efficiency and customer service to consolidate some of its operations, which will involve the relocation of some roles from Dublin to Derry.”

The company refused to provide details on the number of jobs that would be transferred to its Londonderry operation.

It said there would be few job losses.

“Net job losses will be small and the company is confident this can be achieved on a voluntary basis.

“AXA will not be commenting on any specific details as discussions with employee representatives are ongoing,” the company said.
