£7m airport plan briefing for DUP delegation at Eglinton

East Londonderry MP Gregory Campbell and MLAs George Robinson, Adrian McQuillan and Gary Middleton visited the Eglinton site on Friday morning.

Mr Robinson said: “The purpose of today’s visit was to learn about the current situation with the airport and to establish what help they needed to ensure the £7 million from the Executive will be maximised for the benefit of the North West.

“The airport management gave us a comprehensive briefing and tour of the facilities at Eglinton. I have no doubt that the airport can play an integral role in developing the North-West economy, so we must ensure best usage of the airport for passengers and possibly freight where possible.”
