VANDALS have trashed the toilets in the home ground of Derry City FC in the latest in a series of sporadic attacks by anti-community thugs.
Derry City Council condemned tje overnight act of vandalism in the South End stand in the Brandywell Stadium.
Leisure Services Manager, Jeff Ashe said that extensive damaged had been caused to the stand’s piping and toilet facilities.
“This is the latest in a number of sporadic acts of vandalism in the Brandywell Stadium. On this occasion significant damaged has been caused to the toilet facilities, however it is too early to determine what repair costs will be.
“Attacks of this nature are to be condemned, and we would appeal for anyone with any information to contact the PSNI.”
