Two devices made safe

Police are continuing to attend a security alert in the Strand Road area of Londonderry this morning.

Police can confirm that Army Technical Officers have made safe two viable explosive devices.

A number of residents who were evacuated from their homes have been allowed to return.

All roads in the area have been reopened to traffic, however there are still restrictions to pedestrian access to the River walk as the Police operation continues.
