Toddler hospitalised after being knocked down

A THREE-YEAR-OLD boy has been treated in hospital after being knocked down in Londonderry.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the road traffic collision on Monday, September 17 in the Ballymagroarty area.

At around 2.50pm, a silver Toyota Corolla car collided with a three year old child near the Ringfort Road roundabout. The male child was treated in hospital for injuries.

A 71 yr-old woman was arrested and bailed pending further police enquiries.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information to contact Police at Strand Road station on 0845 600 8000 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
