THREE cases involving the taking, possession, making or distribution of indecent photographs of children are currently being prosecuted in Londonderry, according to the Justice Minister David Ford.
A total of 39 such cases are currently in the court system throughout Northern Ireland.
Lord Morrow asked the Minister of Justice how many cases involving the taking, possession, making or distribution of indecent photographs of children were in the court system, broken down by court division.
The Minister revealed the figures for Belfast (20), Antrim (5), Ards (4), Craigavon (4), Londonderry (3), Fermanagh and Tyrone (1) and Armagh and South Down (1). There was one case before the Court of Appeal.
