Police in Londonderry are appealing for information following a theft of a motorbike from Belmont Crescent.

Sometime between 11pm on October 1 and 8.30am on October 2 the red coloured Honda C90 Motorbike was stolen from the driveway of the property.

The owner of the bike is 77 yrs old and he used the bike every day for his errands. The bike was unique in that it was twenty years old and the owner had made a customised top box for the rear of the bike to store goods in. The theft has been a considerable loss to the owner.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have seen the bike, registration HXI 2375, or knows of its whereabouts to contact Police at Strand Road station.
