Police in Londonderry are appealing for information following a serious assault on a 20-year-old male on Drumleck Drive area on Thursday, December 27.

At around 3am the victim and his friend were walking near the community centre when they were set upon by a group of unknown males. The victim was treated in hospital for a broken arm and injuries to his face and body.

Police are asking anyone who may have any information to contact them.
