PSNI in Londonderry hunt gold toothed fraudster

Police in Londonderry are appealing for information following an incident of fraud in the Lisnagelvin Road area on the afternoon of Thursday, February 28.

At approximately 1.20pm, a man defrauded a sum of money out of a Bureau de Change in a supermarket. He is described as being of Eastern European appearance, approximately 5’6” tall and had distinctive gold teeth. He was wearing a brown leather jacket, blue jeans and a peaked cap.

Police would advise other exchange bureaus to be wary of this man.

Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact Strand Road Police Station or Crimestoppers.
