PSNI appeal for help to solve crimes

Police in Foyle are investigating a theft of a motorbike from the Glenowen area on Thursday, May 17.

The black Suzuki motorbike, registration FKZ 2694 was taken sometime between midnight and 11am. It was later found burnt out a short distance from the Glenowen resevoir.

Detectives in Foyle are appealing for information following a burglary at a house in Eglinton on Friday, May 11.

It is believed the house at Ward Road was entered sometime between 8pm on Thursday night, May 10, and 8.20am on Friday, May 11.

A number of power tools were stolen from the house which is currently being renovated.

Meanwhile, detectives in Foyle are investigating two burglaries that occurred at Dental Surgeries on Clarendon Street on Thursday, May 10.

Sometime between 2pm and 5pm, a number of items including mobile phones and cash were stolen from bags belonging to staff members. Shortly after 7pm another Dental Surgery was entered and a safe was stolen. There was no cash in the safe.
