Orange attend Magee forum

THE work of the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland, the Ulster-Scots Community Network, Comhaltas and the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) will be showcased today in a Londonderry conference designed to foster ‘one community’ rather than clashing cultures in Northern Ireland.

The ‘Different Cultures, Different Perspectives, One Community’ conference at Magee College will showcase the work of the above organisatioons and will be attended by young people from local schools.

The day is aimed at celebrating our different and shared cultural traditions.

It’s aimed at local GSCE and A-Level students, while the afternoon session is open to anyone interested in learning about the organisations participating in the event. There will be a series of workshops followed by an open discussion forum.
