Ní Chuilín has not funded DC

SPORTS Minister Carál Ní Chuilín has confirmed that her Department has not allocated any funding to Derry City FC.

Traditional Unionist Voice (TUV) MLA Jim Allister asked the Minister how much her Department and its arm’s-length bodies have committed to spending on the Brandywell based club.

Ms Ní Chuilín replied: “Neither my Department nor its arms-length bodies have committed any funding to be spent on Derry City Football Club.”
