Nexus reaches out to those affected by Jimmy Savile story

The revelations concerning the activities of prolific sex offender Jimmy Savile has shocked and angered society.

For many victims of sexual violence and abuse, this has triggered painful memories and brought out past hurts to the surface.

Nexus is an agency that provides specialist counselling for survivors of sexual violence, abuse and rape aged 16 and above.

Following the revelations about Savile, staff at Nexus is encouraging those who have been directly or indirectly affected by this recent turn of events to contact one of their offices for help and have vowed to do everything in their power to provide support and assistance at this time.
