MRI scanner charity night

A FUNDRAISING Night to raise money for the MRI Scanner Appeal at the Royal Victoria Hospital for Sick Children will take place at Gransha Social Club on Saturday, May 26.

Doors for the ticket-only event will open at 7.30pm and the show will start promptly at 8pm.

Music for the evening of pole dancing by some of the country’s best dancers will be provided by Andrew Monk and the Blue Notes.

The organiser Karen Baldwin, has appealed for a good response for the event, which will also feature a raffle with prizes including a signed Ulster rugby ball and a signed cricket bat from Ian Botham.

“We are also doing some auctions on the night and will have some fun crowd participation. We are hoping to raise £6000 for this very worthy cause,” said Karen.

A special 18-month calendar of pole action shots by photographers Harry Diamond and Stephen Weatherall, has also been created and all proceeds are going to the appeal.

To obtain a ticket call Karen on 07880738589.

A representative from the Royal Victoria Hospital for Sick Children will attend.
