Information appeal after robbery

Detectives in Foyle are appealing for information following the report of a robbery in the Shipquay Place area of Londonderry on Thursday, January 17.

At around 10.40am it was reported that a male had snatched an envelope containing a sum of money from a man as he walked in the street. The male was described as being in his late teens/early twenties, was of slim to medium build, with short dark brown hair. He was wearing navy coloured track suit bottoms with a logo on the right leg, a red hooded sweatshirt and white trainers. There were no reports of any injuries.

Police would ask anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact them at CID in Strand Road.
