The Annual General Meeting of Drumahoe Women’s Institute was held on September 17.

Mrs Irene Boggs, Executive Member for the Londonderry Area, chaired the Meeting. Mrs Margaret Lucy and Mrs Iris Wilson from Eglinton Institute acted as Tellers.

Mrs Helen Wylie was duly elected President and Mrs Lynne Lapsley was asked to take on the position of Minute Secretary. Mrs Daisy Mawhinney (out-going President) won both the Competition Cup and the Friendship Cup. Mrs Kathleen Collins was the recipient of the Attendance cup.

Mrs Boggs wished both Helen and Drumahoe WI a successful and enjoyable year.
