Criminal damage at Derry City Football club

Detectives at Strand Road PSNI Station are investigating an incident of criminal damage to Derry City football club in the Brandywell area overnight on Sunday, November 11 into Monday, November 12.

The incident was reported to police shortly after 11.30am on Monday morning.

It is believed that unknown people have broken into the stadium via a rear wall accessed from the Southend Park area.

Extensive damage has been caused to three toilet blocks just below the south end stand.

Copper pipes were taken and wash hand basins were removed but not taken.

Anyone who noticed any unusual activity in the area overnight or who has any information is asked to contact detectives at Strand Road.
