POLICE in Foyle are appealing for information on incidents in which vehicles were damaged over the festive season.

Criminal damage was caused to two cars parked in Ederowen Park on Thursday, December 27.

Sometime between 2am and 9.30am, windows were smashed in a black coloured Honda Civic and a blue coloured Audi A6.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police at Strand Road.

Police are also appealing for information following criminal damage caused to car on Foyle Street on Friday, December 28.

A male approached a blue Citroen Xsaro Taxo car and punched the front passenger window while the car was occupied. The window was broken but no-one was injured.

The male is described as aged mid-20s, around 5ft 9in tall, skinny build with ginger hair and was wearing a black leather jacket.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to contact them.
