Burglary at student accommodation

Detectives are appealing for information following a burglary at student accommodation in Rockmills at the weekend.

Sometime between 11pm on Saturday, February 23 and 3pm on Sunday, February 24, an apartment was broken into and ransacked. A considerable number of electronic devices were stolen and Police are keen to speak to anyone who saw the thieves carrying televisions, amplifiers or other electronic goods in the Rockmills complex on Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Some of the items stolen were: a black 20” Bush flat screen TV; 32” HD TV; silver Alba DVD player; red Samsung laptop; black HP Laptop; Fuji Finepix S2950 camera, silver compact camera with partial smashed screen, GHD straighteners and various hair appliances, antique brush mirror set; Nintendo Wii; black X-Box Elite and games; Seinheizer headphones; Acoustic Solutions 100 watt amplifier.

Anyone offered the items for sale in suspicious circumstances is asked to contact Police.
