Bigots target Apprentice Boys hall in paint bomb attack

POLICE are appealing for information after sectarian bigots hurled paint bombs at the historic Apprentice Boys Memorial Hall in Londonderry city centre.

The sectarian bigots missed, however, and the missiles landed on the road in front of the historic building.

Police in Londonderry are appealing for information following the attack on Friday, October 5.

A spokesperson stated: “Shortly after 7pm, two paint bombs were thrown in the direction of the Hall but missed and hit the road in front.”

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information to contact Police at Strand Road on 0845 600 8000 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
