Police are appealing for information following an attack on an 18-year-old male on the night of Monday night, October 12.

Shortly before 10pm, the victim was walking near the city walls at Magazine Street when he was hit by a glass bottle. He was taken to hospital and treated for injuries to his face and head which required stitches.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the attack or who has any information to contact them.
