Police in Londonderry area appealing for information following an assault on a 22-year-old male on Shipquay Street on Thursday, December 27.

A PSNI spokesperson said that at around 1.30am, the victim was assaulted by a number of unknown males outside a pub. He sustained injuries to his face and his teeth were broken.

“The area would have been busy at the time and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the assault to contact them at Strand Road station,” the spokesperson said.
