Police in Londonderry are appealing for information following an assault in the Madam’s Bank Road area in the early hours of Monday, August 20.

At 12.30am, a man in his 20s was entering the underpass when he was assaulted by three youths. The man received a hand injury from a bottle used by one of the youths in the assault. The male youths are described as being about 14 or 15 years old. One is described as being approximately six feet tall, of slim build, with black hair. All three youths were wearing dark tracksuits.

Anyone with any infroamtion about this incident is asked to contact Strand Road Police Station.
