Police in Londonderry are appealing for information following an assault on a 20-year-old male during the early hours of Sunday morning, October 28.

The victim was walking along Heather Road in Galliagh when five unknown males approached him near the school. One male held a knife to the victims throat and threatened him. The victim was not injured.

The male with the knife is described as aged in his early 20’s, stocky build and was wearing black shoes, tight blue jeans and a black jacket.
