7-year-old amongst five criminals under 10

A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD who committed an aggravated assault was amongst five children under the age of 10 from the North West G District Command area who committed offences over the past year.

Another child (aged 10) committed a motoring offence whilst another (also aged 10) committed theft. Two other children (also aged 10) were said to have committed criminal damage offences.

Incredibly, the youngest child said to have committed an offence across Northern Ireland was a five-year-old thief in B District.

Sixty-five children under the age of 10 were found to have committed offences, according to PSNI records.
