40 ‘pot’ plants seized in Waterside

FORTY cannabis plants were recovered by police in Londonderry during a swoop on a property in the Waterside on Friday (October 5), a PSNI spokesperson has stated.

Police in Foyle say they seized a quantity of suspected Class B controlled drugs following a search of a property in the Waterside area of the city.

At approximately 1.30pm the property was searched and 40 cannabis plants were recovered. Police enquiries are continuing.
