Two cars torched and four damaged in business park attack

Two cars were torched and four other cars damaged during a rampage in a Londonderry business park in the early hours of Wednesday (April 30).

A Police Servcie of Northern Ireland (PSNI) spokesman said the incident occurred at approximately 3am in the Lenamore Business Park in the greater Shantallow area of the city.

Meanwhile, in an entirely separate incident the PSNI confirmed that sometime between 12.30am and 7.30am on Monday morning (April 28) a house at Carnhill was entered by intruders who stole a number of items.

The kitchen of the house was searched through by the criminals. Prescription drugs as well as cash in coppers and 5ps were stolen, the PSNI spokesman confirmed. The loose change was taken from a large Smirnoff Vodka bottle.
