This group of Primary Six and Seven pupils from Culmore Primary didn’t let the rain bother them during their recent trip to the spectacular Giant’s Causeway.

It was part of an overnight exploration that saw the pupils explore the rich habitat of the North West coast from Magilligan to Ballintoy.

As well as exploring the local wildlife of the area the pupils also learned about some of the intersting local history and visit the famous Magilligan Martello Tower, which was built between 1812 and 1817 during the Napoleonic Wars, to guard against possible a French invasion via the beaches of North Londonderry.
