Over 100 children and parents will enjoy a Christmas Party at the Clooney Family Centre where Santa Claus is due to drop in bearing gifts on Wednesday (December 11) at 4pm.
But Father Christmas won’t be the only festive visitor, lovable Disney characters, Mickey and Minnie will also attend. The children will also enjoy face-painting, party food and a disco.
Suzanne Woods, practice team leader at Action for Children in Waterside, said: “The Clooney Family Centre Christmas party brings the community together to celebrate Christmas festivities.
“The children are so excited about meeting Santa and will be even more thrilled to receive a gift. It’s a great day for all of the families involved.”
The Clooney Family Centre works at the heart of the local community offering advice and support for a wide range of issues facing families to try to make their lives easier, healthier and happier.
This includes parenting programmes, therapeutic interventions for children and young people, support for vulnerable families or children on the edge of care and use of the centre for family contact.
Action for Children supports children and families at a wide range of services across Northern Ireland, ensuring they get the emotional and practical support they need not just at Christmas, but all year round.
