Detectives at Strand Road are appealing for information about a burglary at Gleneagles, Culmore Road.

During office hours on Wednesday, May 7, a house was broken into and a 22-carat gold engagement ring with a chalice shape and a thick band, and a white Apple iPhone were stolen. Detectives believe that the offenders used the pathway to the River Foyle that runs to the back of Gleneagles from Culmore Road.

Meanwhile, police say money was stolen from a house at Stephen’s Court between 3pm and 8pm on Monday, 5.
