Lauren Olphert, Michelle Olphert, William Thompson, Leslie Mitchell and Nigel Gardiner (Project Co-Ordinator) were all in attendance as EPIC North Ulster hosted the second meeting of a groundbreaking ‘From Prison to Peace’ project in Irish Street community centre last Wednesday (April 2).

Six groups - representing former UVF, UDA, IRA and INLA prisoners - are involved in the peace-building initiative.

Epic North Ulster (representing former UVF prisoners) is taking part in the scheme, which allows former prisoners to talk about their lives upon release from prison, to engage with their communities and to talk about what they are delivering to their communities.
