Musgrave has used a ‘Statutory Demand’ to attempt to secure over £50,000 from a Strabane painter and decorator.

The Belfast Gazette has published notice that the demand was issued against Mr Aidan Kelly, of 2 Scotstown Road, Clady, by Musgrave Retail Partners NI Limited.

The notice, addressed to Mr Kelly, states: “The Creditor demands payment in the sum of £52,391.33 being the unsecured amount due and owing on foot of a Judgment of the High Court of Justice in Northern Ireland dated February 27, 2014.

“The Statutory Demand is an important document and it is deemed served on you on the date of the first appearance of this advertisement. You must deal with this Demand within 21 days of the service upon you or you could be made bankrupt and your property and goods taken away from you.”

The notice was published on June 9.
