The Sir Knights of Maiden City Royal Black Preceptory 113 will hold their annual church service on Sunday, August 24.
The service is to Carlisle Road Presbyterian Church Hall.
The Sir Knights are asked to assemble at Society Street at 3.30pm in full regalia, for a parade moving off at 3.40pm, taking in Bishop Stret Within, The Diamond, Ferryquay Street and Carlisle Road.
The preacher will be Rev Robert Buick, Minister of Carlisle Road Presbyterian Church.
Two readings from the Bible will read by Sir Knight Victor Wray, the serving Chaplain of the Preceptory, and Sir Knight Peter Ross, the First Committee Member.
The parade to the church will be led by Churchill Flute Band.
This is the final parade before the traditional ‘Black Saturday’ demonstration, which is being held in Londonderry this year after a six year absence, and all Sir Knights are asked to support both next weekend’s demonstration and the Sunday service.
