Insurance was cancelled
Catriona McCaughley, whose address was given as Riverglade Manor, Craigavon, was fined £200 for the offence last Friday at the local magistrates’ court.
She was also given six points and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.

Hide AdThe court heard she was stopped by police on the Old Portadown Road and checks showed there was no insurance in place.
She insisted she was insured and was asked to produce the insurance but she later contacted police admitting she was not covered.
Her partner was the registered keeper of the car and took care of the arrangements but the policy had been cancelled because of a non payment.
A solicitor representing the defendant said the vehicle belonged to her partner but a direct debit payment was missed.
He added that within a matter of hours she obtained new insurance.
