The owners of a wee dog from Londonderry are asking people to help see it crowned the 2015 ‘Nose of Tralee.’
Toby, a nine-year-old ‘rescue’ dog, has his own Facebook profile, which his owners are using to rally the North West in a bid to win the competition, organised by the pet-sitting firm Pet Sitters Ireland.
He posted: “My lovely family entered me, ‘Toby’ into Pet Sitters Ireland’s ‘Nose Of Tralee’. I have been chosen to represent Derry and therefore am the new Derry Nose 2015.
“The public vote reopens on July 27 for all 32 counties. Hopefully Derry will give me their full support.”
