Five months in prison for Lisburn woman

A 22-year-old woman was sentenced to a total of five months in prison last Friday at Craigavon Magistrates Court.

Danielle Donaldson, Flush Park, Lisburn, appeared by way of videolink from Hydebank.

She admitted charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm on August 3 last year, disorderly behaviour, assaults on police, resisting an officer and criminal damage to a police uniform.

For the assault occasioning actual bodily harm she received five months in custody while concurrent three month terms were imposed on the other charges.

Suspended sentences were also activated to run concurrently.

The court heard that at 1.25am police received a report of man having been head-butted in the Spice House, Thomas Street, Portadown.

His nose was injured and there was blood around his nostrils.
