The ceremony took place on Monday, at the Corporation of London.

Murray Craig, Clerk of the Chamberlain’s Court, in whose chambers there ceremony was conducted, described the event as ‘high profile’ and one which solidified the historic links between London and Londonderry.

“For the Corporation of London this was a high profile event to solidify the historic link between the City and Ulster through the 403 year old the Honourable the Irish Society,” he said.
