Food and drink producers in Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council area are urged to put their goods to the ‘Best’ test

George Best Belfast City Airport, in partnership with Food NI and the council, is inviting entries for Northern Ireland’s Best food or drink product competition by Friday, March 3.

The £30,000 prize includes £20,000 of branding on site at the airport and £10,000 of online support through digital channels. Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council will help judge the entries from producers in its area.

Joanne McLaughlin, Food Network Project manager CCGBC, said: “The council recognises what a fantastic opportunity this is for local producers - our region boasts some incredible produce and the airport’s marketing support would make a huge impact on businesses in our area.

“We look forward to receiving entries from producers across our council area and would like to thank Belfast City Airport and Food NI for providing this great opportunity.”

Producers can download an entry form from www.belfastcityairport.com/foodni and should submit their entries via email to cortney@lighthouseni.com
