Echo Echo guns for new city centre dance studio

A LONDONDERRY dance company plans to move into a new studio in the middle of the city centre and backing onto Gunner’s Bastion on the Walls.

The Echo Echo Dance Company wants to move into the new studio at the bottom of Waterloo Street beside the old Ulster Bank building, which was recently earmarked for a £2m facelift.

The new studio - should it get the go ahead - will be located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of 44-48 Waterloo Place, which are currently vacant and were previously used as offices and a training centre.

Echo Echo wants to convert this into “dance theatre studios and ancillary accommodation and repairs to external fabric above ground and first floors.”
