A man has appeared in court accused of causing criminal damage of an electronic tag belonging to Group Four Security. The court heard that Christopher Boast of Gelvin Grange, had been on bail since February 27 and the tag had been taken off to allow him to go on holiday.

Boast’s solicitor said that when the tag was replaced after the holiday it had come loose.

A PSNI constable told the court she believed she could connect the defendant to the charges. Boast was bailed appear again on July 7.
