POLICE in Strabane are appealing for information from anyone who may have witnessed a hit-and-run incident.

A PSNI spokesman said a pedestrian was injured when he was struck by a car at Bridge Street between 8.30am and 9am on Monday, June 23.

The car did not stop after the man was struck.

The spokesman said information could be relayed to the police using the non-emergency number 101, or alternatively, by telephoning the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on Freephone number 0800 555 111.
