Charity boxes, which police believer were stolen, have been dumped in Lurgan’s Ulster St.

The boxes were discovered yesterday and the PSNI believe they were stolen locally.

A PSNI spokesperson urged all local shops and businesses to check to see if all their charity boxes have been accounted for.

“Two local charities will be at a loss and we would appreciate any help in identifying the offender of this crime,” said the spokesperson.

The PSNI has asked anyone who knows anything to call 101.
