New timetable near finished

A NEW rail timetable for the Londonderry to Coleraine line - currently undergoing renovation - is in the process of finalisation, according to Translink Service Delivery Manager, Alan Young.

He made the revelation at a ‘Meet the Manager’ event at the Foyle Street bus depot.

SDLP MLA Mark H. Durkan and SDLP Councillor were briefed by Mr Young.

Mr Young said: “These sessions are invaluable in terms of providing local representatives with an update on local bus and rail services. We were pleased to welcome both MLAs and councillors on board one of our new Goldline coaches which offer superb passenger comfort, accessibility and reliability.

“We also advised stakeholders about ongoing work on the Londonderry railway line and developments in the finalisation of a new rail timetable. We would once again like to thank local representatives for attending this Meet the Manager session and ask for their continued support as we work hard to deliver attractive services for everyone.”
