Local firms amongst Chinese missionaries

OVER two hundred companies have been involved in Invest NI trade missions to China since 2004 including several from Londonderry.

Law firm Caldwell and Robinson, agricultural engineering firm Fleming Agri, the Foyle Language School, the North West Academy, drinks manufacturer Niche Drinks, clothes manufacturer Adria, and the formerly Limavady-based factory Huco Lightronics have all made the pilgrimage east.

Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster stated: “Since November 2004 Invest NI has organised 16 missions to China; on average two per year. Over this period 206 separate companies have participated on Invest NI trade missions.”
