Chambers farm for sale

AUCTIONEERS DC Rankin (J. Galbraith and Co.) have been instructed by the representatives of the late Robert Chambers to sell a 110 acre farm in Newbuildings.

The Chambers estate is one of the tranches of land affected by the proposed new A5 between Londonderry and Aughnacloy.

The farm includes a dwelling house, yard and outbuildings at 94 Victoria Road.

Elsewhere, the owner of property at Ashbrook, Drumahoe, is selling 65 acres of land - comprising 45 acres of barley with the remainder being grazing land.

According to the auctioneers “these lands have a lot of road frontage, and due to their location, part of the lands may also have some development potential.”

And across the river the owner of lands at Whitehouse Road, Ballymagroarty, is selling 40 acres with a few outbuildings.
