Having doubled its customer base in the area within the last 12 months, Connect Telecom has revealed plans to open a local office in 2017.

Scott Ritchie, director of Connect Telecom, said: “With a significant proportion of our growth in the North West, we are keen to establish a permanent base here to service both existing and new clients for whom we provide fixed phone lines and mobiles, broadband, email, data storage and other IT solutions.

“Our investment in the area is underpinned by the success of businesses in the North West area who we will look to support in the coming years and our desire to be the sole provider of all communications requirements for businesses of all sizes and from all sectors.”

Earlier this year Connect Telecom, which will celebrate 10 years in business in 2017, became one of the first Vodafone partners in the UK authorised to install One Net Business, and the first in Northern Ireland.

George Fleming, incoming president of the Londonderry Chamber of Commerce, said: “As the largest business network in the region, we support the development and growth of the business community of the North West.

“We are delighted Connect Telecom will be opening an office in the region in the new year to further support the growth and development of local businesses.”
