LONDONDERRY MP Mark Durkan has expressed shock and regret at the news of 15 job losses at the HMV outlet in the Richmond Centre.
He said: “I deeply regret this news which will come as a huge blow to workers and their families.
“While the difficulties at HMV have been apparent for some time, the news of closure still hits with a sense of shock.
“HMV staff have been a committed and reliable workforce – some of whom have served the company loyally and faithfully for up to 10 years.
“As they now face redundancy and the prospect of terrible uncertainty, management have an onus to reciprocate the loyalty and good faith which workers have always shown.”
