The group behind the Crescent Link Retail Park has welcomed the arrival of New York Italian-style bar and restaurant, Frankie and Benny’s, to the Waterside.

The Sentinel was the first media outlet to report on the chain’s intention of locating here over three years ago.
Now it’s finally opened its doors in the city, creating 65 jobs.

Alastair Coulson, Director of Asset Management for The Lotus Group, which manages Crescent Link commented: “We’re delighted to welcome the team from Frankie & Benny’s and believe the new restaurant will further enhance the retail and lifestyle options already on offer at this hugely popular facility.

“Crescent Link has earned a reputation for diversity and choice and this new addition will help broaden its appeal to both the local community and to our many visitors who travel from across Northern Ireland and Donegal.

Andy Smith, General Manager of Frankie & Benny’s added: “Our new Crescent Link site is a great location offering accessibility, ease of parking and choice to all who use it.

“As a strongly family-focused restaurant Frankie & Benny’s will complement the retail park, bringing further choice, convenience and value to regular and new visitors.

“We very much look forward to introducing our unique dining experience to all our new customers across the North West.”
