Ballycastle and Ballymoney PSNI office closures reminder

Police have issued a reminder that enquiry offices at Ballycastle and Ballymoney PSNI stations will close to the public from Monday (April 3).

The PSNI points out that people will have the option of visiting enquiry offices at Coleraine and Limavady between 11.00am and 7.00pm, Monday to Friday (closed for lunch between 3.00pm and 3.30pm).

Police add: “You can access information about policing in your local area, advice, crime prevention and report general crime on our website, www.psni.police.uk

“You can also find out about policing in your area and engage with local officers on our social media sites.

“We can be contacted 24 hours a day by phoning 101 or 999 in an emergency.”

Meanwhile, East Londonderry MLA George Robinson is to meet local police command today (Thursday) to discuss the impact of the changes, which a number of politicians have labelled a “retrograde” step.
