THE jury in a trial of Stephen Cahoon, accused of the murder of his pregnant ex-girlfriend in Londonderry last July, are continuing to consider its verdict.

Mr Cahoon, aged 37, has already admitted killing Jean Quigley at her Cornshell Fields, but denies murdering the mother-of-four.
The victims body was discovered badly beaten and strangled. The case has made legal history as the accused opted for trial in the Irish Republic. He is the first person to face a southern jury for a non-terrorist related offence in Northern Ireland.
Mr Cahoon was arrested in Donegal eleven days after Ms Quigley's murder.
